Saori Horii - 堀井沙織

Saori Horii (堀井沙織, born August 9, 1984) is a female gravure idol of Japan. She is from Tokyo, and belongs to the show-business production Platica Inc., a subsidiary of Face Network Co., Ltd.

Saori Horii also belongs to the production or talent agency called Platica, Inc.

Saori Horii got her start in modeling when she worked on a promotional basis. At this time, she was contacted by a headhunting agency called Face Network Co., Ltd. She then became a race queen for that company.

When she was a race queen for one year, Saori Horii was promoted to the position or title of gravure idol by the manager of the company Face Network Co., Ltd. That manager who promoted Saori was in charge of the company’s show business division. This company is now known by its current name of Platica Inc. Gravure idol is another word that is used in Japan to describe a person who is a swimsuit or bikini model.

Saori’s magazine debut as a model was in April 2006 when she made her very first appearance in a men’s magazine. Soon, she would appear in many more publications. As of 2008, Saori had released 6 DVD’s. But her fifth DVD titled “Lovely Flower” was published more than once because the first edition of that DVD had sold out very quickly. Since 2007, Saori has made appearances on television as well. In April 2008, she got to belong to Platica Inc. automatically through independence of the firm.
